Anyone who visits Berlin and loves jazz and blues cannot help but spend at least one evening at Yorckschlösschen, one of the historic jazz clubs of the German capital. With a tradition of over 100 years, the Yorckschlösschen has a very interesting live music program with an equally good outdoor beer garden, perfect for the summer.
Believe it or not, the Kreuzberg neighborhood was once considered a suburb of Berlin: Yorckschlösschen only became famous in 1970, when artists and musicians started frequenting the venue. From that moment on, the atmosphere created at Yorckschlösschen continued to attract audiences, bands and jazz musicians of international caliber, consecrating the club into legend.
Upon entering you immediately notice the authentic style of the venue, enriched by the multitude of memories left by the various artists hosted. Within these walls you can breathe the history of countless evenings of music and stories that have followed one another here for over a century. Between Wednesday and Saturday evenings, you can find it full of people of all ages dancing between the tables and the stage on which the musicians perform.
What makes it particularly popular is also the excellent geographical location, with its proximity to the Viktoriapark and also to the Gleisdreieck park. On Sunday you can enjoy a characteristic buffet brunch naturally accompanied by exciting concerts.
A must for lovers of good music!
