More like an upper deck than a terrace, this arts center has been floating at the base of the National Library (BNF) since 2010, joining the ranks of cool 13th-century moored riverboat venues.
And it rivals Bathefar (Paris’ tried-and-true floating nightclub), which hosts a wide variety of concerts and art exhibitions.
The coveted terrace doubles as a bar, restaurant and octopus gardener’s paradise, decorated with a myriad of aquatic plants.
This venue regularly hosts live music in a variety of genres, from minimalist Norwegian pop and indie folk to rock and jazz.
It has the versatility to match Le Petit Bain’s architecture.
His , designed by the Angkor Wooloo collective, looks like a bright green barge with a cubist wooden treehouse on top.
